ROME - CMAS and the International School of Comics promoted an awareness campaign in defense of the sea through comics. CMAS is a sports confederation founded in 1959 by the writer, explorer and oceanographer Jacques Cousteau. CMAS president Anna Arzhanova with "Blue Helmets of the sea" has developed various initiatives: the first in Salerno, where it will set up a course for immigrants in collaboration with MIBACT, the European Union, the Ministry of Education and schools, in order to affirm that the sea is the patrimony of everyone without barriers or boundaries.

TARGET - «We want our members - explains Anna Arzhanova - anywhere in the world put their skills and experience at the service of culture, the preservation of the sea and its cleaning. CMAS will operate in line with UNESCO and with all the scientific committees, universities and non-profit organization, forming a common front that will have as its objectives to retrieve the underwater hidden treasures through a scientific committee and to clean our seas. We also can ignore anymore the damages caused by passive "trash vortex": the plastic islands and plastic debris in the sea are killing marine animals, we must intervene on their behalf. Today we are launching this campaign, demanding the participation of all the world and the comic on the Blue Helmets of the sea, developed in collaboration with the International School of Comics, excellence in the sector in Italy and in the world, it is a direct way to show that all together we can change the things. Send us photos, videos, a movie, a drawing or a poem: we all want our seas come back clean, everyone can be a Blue Helmet».
