Sport Movies&Tv Festival in Milan: CMAS movie's "Deep" selected

The festival is organized by the FICTS (Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs)

MILAN - Saturday the 17th will be the day of of "Deep", the docu-film promoted by CMAS (the World federation of underwater sports) and "Selcted" in the "Sport&Scoiety" category for the “Sport Movies&Tv–36th Milano International FICTS Fest”, final of 16 festivals (in the 5 continents) of the “World FICTS Challenge” Worldwide Championship of Cinema, Television and Sport Culture, scheduled in Milan from November 14th to 19th.

The festival is organized by the FICTS (Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs, chaired by Franco Ascani, member of the Cultural and Olympic Heritage Commission of the IOC), recognized by the International Olympic Committee, for which it promotes the values of sport and olympicism through images in the 116 member nations.

The "Deep" docufilm is inspired by CMAS's "The Blue Helmets of the Sea" project, presented in November last year at the European Parliament in Brussels. The Blue Helmets aim to contribute to the protection of the marine environment and the recovery of archaeological heritage. The producers are Giuseppe Milazzo Andreani of Saturnia Pictures srl and Federica Simonetti of Lake Film, directed by Luca Alessandro and Allegra Bernardoni, with the contribution of the Italian National Association of Civilian Victims of War (ANVCG): "Deep", winner of the MigrArti competition for Mibac (italian Ministry of Culture), was shot in Salerno and provides a part of fiction and a part of real images, with protagonists, among actors, three refugees landed in Salerno and who through the courses obtained a diving license.

Main center of the show it will be the seventeenth-century Palazzo Giureconsulti, in the heart of the city of Milan: the event is developed with 120 projections (including 30 World and European premieres), 4 exhibitions, 4 meetings, 2 workshops, 16 awards of international guests. The Grand Auditorium of Palazzo Lombardia (Piazza Città di Lombardia, 1 - Milan) will host the Opening (14) and Awards ceremonies (19).

"Deep" will be screened on Saturday 17th at 8.30 p.m. in the Donzelli room.
